Marie Nubia-Feliciano

Marie Nubia-Feliciano holds a Ph.D. in Education. She also holds a master’s degree in Counseling, with an emphasis in student development in higher education, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. Her research interests focus the experiences of individuals and communities at the boundaries, and specifically on AfroLatinidad. She is a lecturer at CSU Fullerton and has taught part time for Chapman University and UC Irvine. Dr. Marie instructs on such topics as Ethnic Studies, Black Latinx Identity, Leadership, Feminisms of Color, Race and Ethnicity, and Student Development. She currently is a co-PI on an IRB-approved research project (Protocol Number: HSR-21-22-319) at CSUF exploring the impact of Ethnic Studies instruction on the psychosocial development of students.

Martika Orozco (she/her/ella) received her Master's in Environmental Studies and Technology Concentration from California State University, Fullerton. During her graduate studies, she served as a Teaching Assistant Intern for CHIC 201: Chicana/o Environmentalism and worked as a Graduate Student Assistant for the LatinX Lab for Storytelling and Social Justice. Her areas of focus include environmental analysis (CEQA/NEPA), Latinx environmentalism, and environmental justice.
