Chicana and Chicano Studies Major Requirements (36 units)
The Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies includes three concentrations, from which students select one – African American Studies, Chicana and Chicano Studies or Asian American Studies. Through interdisciplinary study, the degree prepares students for further training in a wide range of fields, including education, social work, law, community development, and health.
The B.A. in Ethnic Studies includes 21 units of shared core courses, 15 units of courses specific to each concentration, General Education, all-university requirements and free electives.
